On the Heli route, you will find the local market in Purang Town, and on the Overland route, you will find the local market in Dongba / Saga. These are affordable markets where you can find all the necessary items of your choice.

As per the Chinese Guidelines 2025, it is forbidden to burn any kind of incense stick or to perform any kind of hawan-pujan at the Mansarovar Lake. The decision comes intending to maintain the cleanliness at the sacred lake, and no littering activities are allowed at the Mansarovar Lake.
