Tourists who want to go from Lucknow will arrive at the pick-up point in Lucknow in the morning, from there we will drive around 4-5 hrs in AC coach for Nepalgunj. People arriving at Kathmandu will go to Nepalgunj by flight. Stay one extra night in Taklakot for the acclimatization toward Kailash. Drive for roughly 2 hours in the AC Volvo category bus to Mansarovar Lake and then start your Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake. Complete Holy Lake Parikrama of approx 105 km by bus, take a dip and perform Puja at divine Lake Mansarovar. After completing the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake proceed towards Darchen which is the base of Kailash Parikrama. Kailash Inner parikrama is known to be one of the most popular and one of the hardest pilgrimage tours.

After breakfast, we will drive from Lucknow to Nepalgunj for around 4-5 hrs in the AC coach or .
People arriving at Kathmandu will go to Nepalgunj by flight. Yatra briefing in the evening.

Nepalgunj - Simikot- Hilsa - Purang

Early Morning proceeds towards the airport and catches the flight for Simikot. After reaching Simikot rest for a few hours and then fly to Hilsa by Helicopter, wait for other group travelers to join, and then drive to Purang.
Overnight stay at Hotel Purang.
It's 40-50 minutes flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot & then 20-25 minutes helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa.

Acclimatization at Purang

After reaching Purang your entire day will be free where you will acclimatize and also might go for a short trek in preparation for Mount Kailash Parikrama. Overnight stay at Hotel Purang.
Purang is a small & very clean town with lots of shops/stores on both sides of the road for purchasing necessary items for further Yatra like trekking sticks, water gallons for storing Holy Mansarovar Water, some packed juices other things.
Some bargaining happens here at almost all shops. It's a pleasant experience to roam around at Purang, meet people, and know their culture.

Purang to Mansarovar Lake

You’ll be visiting the Holy Mansarovar Lake in the AC Volvo category bus which is around 2 hours journey and after you reach perform the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake.
Complete Holy Lake Parikrama of approx 105 km, take holy bath and perform Puja at divine Lake Mansarovar praying for the world betterment. While you reach Mansarovar Lake, en route see the first-ever glimpse of Kailash Parvat. It's an overwhelming experience to see Divine Mount Kailash, just next to Holy Lake Mansarovar while taking bath. Overnight stay at Guest House near Lake Mansarovar.
If weather permits, You can visit Lake Mansarovar in the night or early morning (Brahm Muhurt) too to witness the divinity of the place.

After breakfast near the Lake Mansarovar we will proceed to Darchen which is the base for Kailash Parikrama

First Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will be proceeding towards Yamdwar and then trek to Dirapuk which is 10 km Parikrama. Get blessed with the darshan of North Face of Mount Kailash during the first day of Parikrama which is considered to be most auspicious.
It is suggested to do the outter Parikrama by trek only even when Pony is available( on paid basis) which will help to gain trek practice for Inner Parikrama Trek.

Second Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash

On the second day we will head for the trek to Charansparch of Mount Kailash which takes approximately 3-5 hours for 5-7 km.
Here we can have a closer darshan of North Face of Mount Kailash
After return we will utilise the day for the rest so we feel for the next days 22 km trek

Third Day Outer Parikrama of Mount Kailash

Early morning, we will be starting the trek of 22Km from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and then reach Zuthulpuk. It is considered the most difficult part of the Outer Parikrama Route since you’ll be going up at 18,600 ft height above sea level.
From Dolma La Pass descend to Gauri Kund and further trek along with the Karnali river to Zuthulpuk where you’ll be staying overnight in a Lodge / Guest House.
The First 6-7 KM (till Dolma La Pass at 5600 m) of the 2nd day has a very steep climb & most difficult part of Yatra.
All the yatris are advised to take a comfortable time to cover it & take rest wherever you feel a problem. After 1st 6-7 KM, the remaining 16 KMs are comparatively plain / downwards & comfortable.
Important: On the 2nd day of Parikrama you will pass through Shivasthal (A sacred place for Tibetans & believe that whatever you offer here, get it in Heaven) Gauri Kund. After Dolma La Pass it’s a long pleasant trekking way beside the river. You will see the East face of Mount Kailash here.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

It is our most important aim that you enjoy your holiday and that we earn your trust. However, we are not responsible for any cancellation due to any industrial disputes, Technical failure of any type of transport we use, loss of earnings, late arrivals or force majeure, or any items beyond our control. After booking, if you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Trip To Temples. in writing. Once Trip To Temples. receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:

If cancellation takes place in between 90 – 150 days prior to your departure date, your full payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit of USD 300 | INR 15000 for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra & USD 300 | INR 10000 or 20% of Package Cost, whichever is higher for other destinations.
If cancellation takes place in between 30-90 days prior to departure 75% of your payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit.
If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to departure due to client’s personal problems, all previously paid amount(s) will be forfeited.
