Nepal outrage comes to an end, pilgrims can undertake Kailash Mansarovar Yatra worry-free

Ever since the unrest broke out in Nepal due to the violent protests by Gen-Z activists, several tourists were left stranded at Kathmandu airport and in other regions of the country. Additionally, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was disrupted, leaving pilgrims stuck in Darchen and Tibet. However, normalcy is restored in Nepal, following the swearing-in of Sushila Karki, the 73-year-old former Chief Justice of Nepal, as the interim Prime Minister. 

After this development and the subsequent appointment of cabinet ministers, the Nepal dispute was resolved with the Karki government’s commitment to eradicating corruption before general elections scheduled for March. 

On Thursday, PM Modi spoke to Nepal's interim PM Sushila Karki, extending India’s support in restoring peace and stability after KP Sharma Oli’s government was ousted by violent Gen-Z outrage in Nepal.
