Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Begins From June 30th

Mahadev is welcoming his beloved devotees to his home, Kailash, after a pending urge of ‘just one sight’ for the past 5 years. With his blessings only, the long wait of five years finally comes to an end as the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is starting from 30th June 2025. 

The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2025 will be jointly managed by the Government of Uttarakhand and the Ministry of External Affairs, Lipulekh Pass (a Himalayan pass in Pithoragarh, on Uttarakhand-China's Tibet region border) being the initial point of the yatra. A total of 250 yatris will participate in the yatra (5 groups; each with 50 people). 10th July 2025 is the official date for the first group to enter China via Lipulekh Pass, and the last group will return to India on 22nd August 2025. The overall duration of Kailash Yatra is 22 days, and the medical screenings of the yatris will be conducted in New Delhi and Gunji, with the health check-ups being monitored at Gunji by the ITBP.
