Nepal: New flight is run for darshan of Kailash Mansarovar at 27,000 feet

Indian pilgrims can now easily experience the darshan of Mount Kailash as a new flight has been made fully operational from Nepalgunj by Shree Airlines. This ground-breaking, innovative launch of the mountain flight for Kailash Mansarovar established Nepalgunj as an important center for Indian tourism, facilitating easier access to Mount Kailash Darshan. 

The aircraft had 38 Indian pilgrims, and the flight was fully managed by Trip To Temples and Nepal’s Path Hill Travels, having Indian pilgrims from Mumbai, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and New Delhi. The aircraft flew at a height of about 27,000 feet, allowing pilgrims to experience the darshan of Kailash Mansarovar. Apart from tourists, officials from Nepal’s Civil Aviation Authority were also on the flight. 

Previously, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was put on a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic and guidelines from the Government of China. However, this Kailash Mansarovar Aerial Darshan has emerged as a fix for all the previous constraints, making the Yatra easier and more accessible for all age groups.
