Top 10 Incredible Monasteries of Tibet That Will Leave You Recharged
Jokhang Monastery, Tibet’s most famous monastery, located in Barkhor Square, Lhasa, is best known for housing a life-sized statue of Jowo Buddha Shakayamuni. Ganden Monastery, founded by Je Tsongkhapa, located in Lhasa, is famous for the uncovering of a giant Buddha painting during the Buddha Thangka festival.
