The initiative was taken by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board in association with KMVN and Trip to Temples. Adi Kailash is the home of Shiva, the Lord of Destruction. Adi Kailash is well known as the replica of Kailash Mansarovar. According to Hindu mythology, Shiva meditated and stayed here. Adi Kailash is a gem of nature, with a snow-capped peak spreading its beauty around the valley. Thousands of pilgrims from around the world visit Adi Kailash once a year to restore their karma cycle and wash away their sins. It is believed the demon king Ravana once prayed to Lord Shiva at Adi Kailash and impressed by his prayers, Lord Shiva granted him the power and brilliance of ten men. 

Om Parvat is the sole mountain among the eight mountain ranges that have been discovered. Om Parvat holds sacred importance among the devotees of Lord Shiva. One of the many reasons for its name is the miraculous impression of the 'ॐ' Om symbol that can be seen on it. It's truly magnificent and unrealistic. People from around the globe visit because it is something that you would not believe if someone told you that many people from all over the world visit Om Parvat to attain liberation and Shiva consciousness.
